18/06/2011 - Atlantis 44 and Volvo Penta D6 400: the choice of leaders
The Atlantis 44 is the first boat in the world equipped with the brand-new Volvo Penta D6 400, the diesel engine with the world’s most powerful outdrive.
More sportiness, lower consumption, greater maneuverability: Atlantis and Volvo Penta take another stride forward to confirm their standing as trailblazers and leaders in their respective sectors.

The Atlantis 44 is now available with the new Volvo Penta D6 400 engine. An engine that no other boat in the world can offer at the moment. Because Volvo Penta chose exclusively Atlantis – the Open yacht specialist – to present the market with this innovative, revolutionary concept engine, the best in its category.
The Volvo Penta D6 400 is the diesel engine with the world’s most powerful outdrive. It was built based on the latest developments in diesel technology, with a transmission designed for optimum handling of its torque and its 400 horsepower. The D6 400 has technologically advanced features: common rail system, dual overhead cam, four valves for each of the six cylinders, turbocharger, displacement compressor and aftercooler. So it provides high performances with low exhaust emissions, reduced vibration and outstanding torque at all speeds. The sensation of sportiness is enhanced by its lightning-quick acceleration with practically non-existent smoke emission. The Atlantis 44 with the D6 400 has more acceleration and a higher top speed: over 36 knots. In addition, when keeping the cruising speed at lower levels, fuel consumption is significantly lowered with this engine. A choice also in favor of the environment, therefore: and all the more so since the Volvo Penta D6 400 meets all the requirements on exhaust emissions (IMO NOx, US EPA Tier 2 and EU RCD).
The advantages are evident also in terms of comfort. The Volvo Penta D6 400 is a very light, compact engine if one considers the large swept volume and the notable power produced. Its compact dimensions and low noise and vibration levels help to make the onboard comfort exceptional.
In addition, its simplicity of use is maximized by the innovative EVC-D, the next-generation Electronic Vessel Control system, with ergonomic controls and smooth gear changes that make it possible to maneuver with precision in any situation. Also with the D6 400, the Atlantis 44 is provided with a Volvo Penta joystick for sterndrive. The boat’s maneuverability in the docking phase increases significantly thanks to much more instinctive and easy to use controls and to the independent control of each of the two outdrives, which can rotate autonomously from each other, ensuring superior maneuverability to that offered by any other solution and comparable to that provided by Volvo’s now-consolidated IPS system.
Thanks to its new engines Atlantis 44 confirms itself to be an innovative boat and underscores with greater vigor the values of the Atlantis brand: Italian design, sporty, and great comfort. Intelligent use of spaces and great ease of use.
30/09/2010 - Atlantis 44. The Open manifesto
Better than any press release, interview or advertisement, this new sport cruiser - premiered at the Genoa Boat Show - expresses the philosophy of Atlantis, the Azimut-Benetti Group's open specialist.
Atlantis' new project was born with a precise mission: offer the best possible synthesis between sporty elegance and usability. The result is Atlantis 44, essential in its concept and look, developed without uncertainties, free from dogmatic attitudes and determined to give an up-to-date interpretation of what an open boat is today: an authentic manifesto. Atlantis 44 is a boat in which form is an ally of substance, a project where design exalts functionality.
One telling example is provided by the hardtop, a distinctive sign of the profile, adding élan to the boat's sporty line and fully respecting the project philosophy: open both aft and on the sides, it offers comfort without creating closure from the exterior. The structure is solid and light: thanks to the new-generation soft top it ensures greater openness, the same protection but with a decidedly lower weight. In addition, the fiber glass roll bar provides extra safety and holds the canvas of the awning when the roof is open.
Also the molding that runs along the whole perimeter of the bottom has both aesthetic and functional value, having been designed not to create sprays of water.
"For us, decor must never be superfluous," say Filippo Salvetti and Marco Biaggi, who produced the Atlantis range's new design together with the shipyard's technical department. "Our goal is always to achieve the right balance between form and functionality."
Functionality is translated on board into opportunities to enjoy the outdoor spaces and excellent nautical qualities. A deck that develops on a single level, three well-defined sunbathing areas, and convenient passageways between the various key areas of the boat, with wide, well-protected gangways: these are the crucial elements of an open boat according to Atlantis.
Sea trials confirm the excellent maneuverability and seaworthiness of this new model. Safe and plucky, the Atlantis 44 enables a peak speed of 34 knots in complete safety.
Passion is guaranteed, stress abolished. Even for the least expert sailors, who can count on technical equipment that simplifies onboard life to provide maximum fun and reliability. From the joystick, which makes mooring simple and intuitive, to the Sky Hook system that makes it possible to maintain the boat's position automatically without having to maneuver manually (particularly useful during the wait to enter into port), to the "vessel view" digital supervision system that offers full monitoring of onboard events and completes the instrumentation of a perfectly ergonomic helm console.
02/07/2010 - Atlantis 48: the Open Type. The new paradigm of the open of the Azimut-Benetti Group
The new Atlantis 48 that will debut at Cannes' Festival de la Plaisance in September will inaugurate the renewal of the Atlantis sport cruiser range.
The main deck extends on a single level from the sunbathing area in the stern to the helm station. The large up&down swim platform is electrically operated and makes it possible to launch the tender or jet-ski, freeing the cockpit of the need for a garage and resulting in exceptional storage capacity (1700 liters).
There are three large sunbathing areas, strategically located forward, aft and alongside the steering console to ensure the necessary privacy but without barriers: the gangways, for the first time covered with teak, are wide and well protected all the way aft by the high guard rail, while the cockpit is kept as free as possible to facilitate passage and ensure full usability of spaces and maximum conviviality.
The walkable space is increased without any decrease in amenities. The cockpit is roomy and comfortable; eight can dine at the large teak table, served by a large C-shaped sofa. On the starboard bulkhead is a long (2.5 m) bar unit equipped with a grill, 80-liter fridge, icemaker, steel sink, convenient pantry spaces, and a 26" retractable television in a completely waterproof housing.
The aft sunpad can be converted into a forward-facing seat by simply raising the back. Behind it there is still sufficient space for a person lying down.
Also the hardtop, besides being a distinctive, sporty design element, responds to precise functionality criteria. The elegant structure is open to the rear and on the sides, providing extensive protection that nevertheless ensures airiness and an absence of barriers, thus fully espousing the open philosophy of the design. As explained by Filippo Salvetti and Marco Biaggi, who together with the shipyard's technical department sign off on the new design of the Atlantis range, "for the exteriors we worked a lot on the hardtop, trying not to make it as closed as you see it on other boats. The part of the roll bar in fiber glass that juts toward the bow combines aesthetic and functional features: it accentuates the boat's plucky nature, provides added protection, and holds the canvas of the awning when the roof is open."
Style and functionality as allies: the interpretive key to the design is right here. The boat's streamlined, sporty line leaves the livability of the cockpit and interiors fully intact. Below, rational use of spaces results in a large dinette, a complete galley and two functional cabins with above-average heights, always between 1.95 and 2 meters.
Placed amidship, the owner's cabin is full beam, very spacious and bright thanks to the large windows on the two sides. The large, rectangular bed (like the one at home!) is positioned in the middle of the cabin. There are two heads on board, both with separate shower stall.
Atlantis 48 confirms and optimizes the range's excellent sailing qualities. The new-concept underbody has been further refined with specific studies on deadrise angles and waterlines to improve behavior and maneuverability even in moderate seas. The two 600 hp Cummins QSC 8.3 engines ensure brilliant performances, with a top speed of 35 knots.
02/07/2010 - Renewal of the range
With the launch of the Atlantis 48 in Cannes and of an additional new model at the upcoming Genoa Boat Show the renewal of the Atlantis range shows its first examples. The redefinition of the product is concentrated especially on optimization of the exterior spaces and on greater protection from the elements. More quality, functionality and livability outside, with the use of innovative materials able to ensure long durability.

ATLANTIS AND NEODESIGN
These were the premises for the start of the shipyard's collaboration with NeoDesign, the studio of Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti, young designers with solid, prestigious experience in the yachting sector. The two professionals come from a multi-year experience with Officina Italiana Design, where they worked on the development of all the models of the recent Riva line.
NeoDesign had to come to grips with a strongly specialized product, sporty and sober in its lines and outfittings; with a well-defined identify, without uncertainties on either the priorities (the boat's usability, livable open spaces, functional interiors) or the style.
"The Atlantis boats were already beautiful," says Salvetti, "but working on the details and on the optimization of the surfaces and forms yielded excellent results. On the deck and on the deckhouse we came up with modern, appealing stylistic changes, always retaining the philosophy of the pure open, even in cases where the hardtop is present."
Atlantis CEO Alessandro Furfaro declared: "Atlantis' new course is an exciting project in which the redefinition of the product and its style plays a decisive role. After evaluating various alternatives we met Marco and Filippo and the agreement with them was immediate, as their design best expresses the sporty, practically oriented spirit of Atlantis. The attention to detail, the search for intelligent, practical solutions, the ability never to betray practicality while respecting the sporty elegance that has always characterized our offering, these are the elements on which the syntony with NeoDesign is absolute. We therefore entrusted them with the project of renewing the entire range and are certain that this will allow us to propose a design in the coming years that is always cutting-edge, able to interpret the new trends in the sector as well as the changing tastes of yacht owners."
26/06/2010 - Atlantis VERVE 36 with joystick for stern drives
Verve is also the ability to amaze! A year after its debut the Atlantis VERVE 36 still knows how to surprise and presents itself at the Azimut-Benetti Group's fourth Yachting Gala with a new wrinkle: the brand-new Volvo Penta joystick for stern drives. The Atlantis walkaround thus confirms and exalts its nature of a boat with a technological heart that allows the owner naturally simple use.
The new joystick for boats powered with stern drives proposes the same outstanding characteristics that determined the success of the IPS joystick introduced on the market in 2006. The boat's maneuverability in the mooring phase increases significantly thanks to instinctive, easy-to-use controls and independent monitoring of each of the two stern units, which can turn independently of each other, ensuring superior maneuverability to that offered by any other solution and comparable to that provided by Volvo's consolidated IPS system.
Everything becomes simpler: the pilot merely has to push the joystick in the direction he wants the boat to move. Rotate the lever to make the boat rotate on its axis and push the button to give more power to the maneuvers in case of a strong current or windy situations. The joystick uses the power of the engines to move the boat, making the bow thrusters superfluous. The function of the joystick offers the pilot an additional advantage: the transmission returns automatically to the central position when the engine is switched off, ensuring maneuvering precision and perfect response.
With an open attitude in regard to innovations, as is fitting for an open yacht specialist, Atlantis is thus among the world's first shipyards to offer this revolutionary system on its range. Already this season the joystick will be available on the VERVE 36 and the Atlantis 40, and is to be extended later to all models equipped with stern drives.
12/03/2010 - Romero Britto personalizes the Atlantis 54. The Atlantis flagship conquers the public in Miami
A boat show or an art gallery? Visitors to the Miami boat show who were able to admire the Atlantis 54 are sure to have asked themselves this question as the flagship of the Atlantis range in Miami was strikingly decorated with designs by the prominent neo – pop artist Romero Britto.
The works of this Miami-based artist are highly acclaimed, especially in the United States. Genial and blithe, the works of Romero Britto are highly acclaimed by both the public and critics, especially in the United States, and many successful companies, including BMW for the Mini, Apple, Absolut Vodka and Pepsi Cola have commissioned his works to personalize their products. Britto’s aesthetics combine well with the Atlantis “open minded” philosophy: the Azimut-Benetti Group brand specialized in opens is in fact always open to dialogue with customers and always ready to embark on new design challenges, as has recently been made evident with the launch of the new VERVE line.
The Atlantis 54 by Britto was scooped up in no time and greatly stimulated numerous other sales and negotiations
The new season for Atlantis in America was met with a particularly positive reception and includes a number of significant novelties; the four new models available on the American market as of this year: Atlantis 54, 50X4, 40 and VERVE 36, together significantly increase the Atlantis presence on the market
The new Atlantis dealership for Florida, assigned to Yacht Brasil Miami, was also confirmed at the Miami show. Already dealers for Azimut, with extensive experience in both North and South American markets, the time spent together at the show confirmed and strengthened the already optimum relationship between Atlantis and the new dealers.
“We are open - Alessandro Furfaro, Atlantis CEO reminds us – This is our manifesto. If you take a look at a dictionary you will find that ‘open’ also means ‘honest’, ‘sincere’ and ‘frank’. Qualities demonstrated by Yacht Brasil Miami and quickly appreciated by our overseas customers”.
09/10/2009 - ATLANTIS VERVE 36 wins the 2009 Boat of the Year Award
The new ATLANTIS VERVE 36 , presented in a double world preview at the Cannes Festival de la Plaisance and at the 2009 Genoa International Boat Show, won "Vela e Motore" magazine's prestigious "Boat of the Year" award – dedicated to the best motor boat and sponsored by the SelmaBipiemme Leasing Group Bancario Mediobanca.
The Award was presented to Atlantis president and CEO Alessandro Furfaro during a gala evening held at Genoa's Galata Museo del Mare.
A commission of journalists, designers and experts, judging between 550 new models presented at the Genoa Show, proclaimed the success of the ATLANTIS VERVE 36, awarding her originality and exceptional practicality. The jury commended the boatyard for having proposed a fresh approach to the sea and boating, ensuring, on a smaller scale, ingenious simplicity and all the beauty of a yacht.
"We are honored to receive this much sought after award," commented Alessandro Furfaro, "it is tangible proof that Atlantis is on the right course for a highly successful coming season together with all the challenges to be conquered by investing in innovation, quality and excellence." The Boat of the Year Award further recognizes the originality of the concept and the exceptional work carried out by the Atlantis technical design department together with Stefano Milanesi and Marco Amadio from Naval Design Studio. Verve 36 inaugurates a line of all new products to be marketed alongside the complete line of sport cruisers. A bulls-eye on the first shot results is a great injection of faith as well as the umpteenth testimonial to the design and production capabilities at our boatyard.
Success is ultimately confirmed by the public appreciation we have received: among the 2,400 boats on display, the flaming orange hull of the Verve 36 could not be missed and caught the attention of many overseas importers.
16/09/2009 - Atlantis 50x4: more elegant, more sporty
To crown a season of great commercial success, the Atlantis 50x4 is reproposed after a careful restyling of the areas below deck. A decor with a more classic taste and with even higher quality materials. A new wrinkle in terms of powering as well: the version equipped with the versatile Volvo IPS 600s is being flanked by a novel version featuring the brand-new Zeus propulsion system paired with the CAT C9 engine. The result? The top speed of this version is pushed up to 36 knots.
01/09/2009 - Atlantis 40: perfect proportions
There are facts that speak for themselves. The 3 m2 swim platform, with a depth of nearly a meter, is already enough to get a clear indication that the new Atlantis 40 knows how to interpret current yachting trends originally and effectively. On this next-generation sport cruiser, the stern and cockpit increasingly become the vital centers of the onboard experience, spaces to be enjoyed and exploited in a versatile, immediate and spontaneous manner. More than the dimensions of the individual elements – which are often considerable, as in the case of the stern platform or of the chaise-longue flanking the double helm seat – it is the perfect measurements of the whole that make this model special, the happy balance between sportiness and functionality.
The cockpit, reached via the telescopic passerelle, accommodates a spacious and comfortable dinette. Six people can sit on the C-shaped sofa to enjoy lunch around the large teak table. On the right bulwark the dinette is serviced by a well-equipped bar unit complete with a glass-covered grill, a 50-liter refrigerator, an icemaker, a steel sink, and convenient cupboard spaces. The table can fold back without having to be reclosed: this reduces its surface area, freeing up additional walking space and providing maximum freedom of movement on deck. The table can also be lowered, enabling the sofa to be transformed into a large sunbathing area (1.4 m wide by 2.2 m long), which together with the chaise (over 2 m long) and the stern cushions provides a place in the sun for at least five adults.
During the warmest hours of the day and for better protection from the breeze during navigation, the elegant power soft top will prove its worth. The roof enhances the Atlantis 40's vocation as an open yacht, as the structure that supports it is very light visually thanks to the absence of any lateral uprights. This way visibility from the helm station remains excellent, and even more so because the steering wheel is positioned towards the center of the boat.
For purists of the uncovered boat a version without the soft top is available, however.
In both versions the Atlantis 40 is born to accompany owners toward the open sea, as shown by all those precious details indispensible for making a cruise an authentic pleasure.
Starting with the silent navigation: the engine room is soundproofed and closed with a counter-molded hatch that avoids any connection with the cockpit. To facilitate inspections and maintenance, access to the engine compartment is extremely easy. For the quickest interventions access is possible through a manually opened trap door. Alternatively, the entire hatch can be opened electrically.
The numerous watertight storage compartments beneath the sofa, in the bar unit and beneath the stern platform, where there's space for six fenders, are extremely useful. Overall the volume devoted to cockpit storage is 1700 liters.

Below deck, where the interiors come in natural oak or polished cherry, are two cabins with private heads and an especially bright dinette thanks to the characteristic large portholes, a distinctive feature of all Atlantis yachts, and to generously proportioned ceiling windows.
The master cabin is furnished with the classic central double bed and is enriched by a large, deep wardrobe and a bathroom featuring a convenient shower with a round tray. The guest cabin proposes a solution of sliding single beds that a simple, rapid movement converts into a perfect double bed. This cabin has a large, deep wardrobe as well and the bath is full height for total comfort of use. The midship saloon has an L-shaped seat for six, equipped with a clever folding table that turns into a coffee table or lunch table with a quick, simple gesture. Opposite the sofa on the port side is the galley. Spacious and practical, it enables flexible use of the space by day as either bar or kitchen.
09/06/2009 - Atlantis presents the design of the future
Atlantis has begun its collaboration with NeoDesign, a recently established studio with prestigious experience and the certainty of a successful future. The boatyard is aiming to redefine its entire range of products over the next two years. This, too, means "being open".
Atlantis is undergoing a great season of renewal regarding its strategic position, its services and range. To emphasize this new move forward, the boatyard has decided to assure its future yachts a contemporary, distinct and never before seen design—a concept that led to the collaboration between Atlantis and NeoDesign, a design studio owned by Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti. These two young designers have already established a solid and prestigious track record in the nautical sector. Both were previously employed by Officina Italiana Design for many years, where they worked together to redevelop all the models in the recent Riva line.
Alessandro Furfaro, Atlantis' CEO, stated: "Atlantis is set on an exciting new course where the revamping of the product line and its style plays a decisive role. After having evaluated various alternatives, the profound understanding upon meeting Marco and Filippo was instantaneous: their design a perfect expression of the sporty unconventional style that is Atlantis. The elements of attention to detail, the quest for intelligent practical solutions, the capacity never to betray functionality while continuing to respect the standards of sporty elegance that have always distinguished the brand, are perfectly in tune with NeoDesign. Atlantis has therefore commissioned these two professionals to revamp its entire line, sure that this move will allow us to propose evermore avant garde designs in the coming years, capable of interpreting the new tendencies in the sector and the evolving tastes of boat owners. I am personally convinced that this new collaboration will bear extraordinary fruits".
12/06/2008 - The very best nautical event of the year is the work of Atlantis
The 2008 edition of the Nautical Marketing Awards, reserved for the best nautical marketing initiatives, was held in Palermo on the 16th of May.
The Granai Prestige Yachting Day, an event organized by Atlantis and GPY in collaboration with Rolex, received the award for the best nautical event.
The latest of a series of achievements to be added to the enormous success, represented by the great turnout of those invited, of the three days of festivities, entertainment and sea trials aboard Atlantis motorboats.
12/06/2008 - Smooth landing for Atlantis in China
Atlantis together with Jebsen Marine took part for the first time at the Shanghai International Boat Show. A presence that did not go unnoticed: the Atlantis 50 presented to the Chinese public is the largest yacht ever to be displayed in the show’s thirteen year history.
But the great interest shown by visitors and the media was ample compensation for Atlantis and Jebsen Marine’s substantial efforts, particularly the acrobatic transportation of the 50’.
16/04/2008 - Striking success for the Granai Prestige Yachting Day
A first-class welcome by the Atlantis team, the impeccable hospitality of Maurizio and Giovanni Granai combined with a pleasing foretaste of summer, the entire Atlantis range lined up along the quay, ideal weather conditions for sea trials, a brilliant display showcasing the Rolex collection, music and acrobatic performances by The Sonics. The numerous guests at the Granai Prestige Yachting Day 2008 had more than one reason to be very pleased about being at Cala de’ Medici.
The event was more successful than even the rosiest of expectations "I wanted to celebrate 30 years of business in the marine sector in the best possible way in the company of my customers" commented Maurizio Granai – "I’m thrilled by both the interest shown during the sea trials and of course the contracts signed, but most of all by the appreciation expressed by guests during the three days: which is the best kind of support one could wish for to continue selling new and used yachts and motor cruisers well into the future."

08/04/2008 - Response to the rumours regarding the X4 project
Insistent rumours about the debut of an Atlantis project have been circulating for a number of weeks. The latest indiscretions suggest that a new yacht is imminent. Other sources have even hinted at the launch of four new models. According to analysts and market experts the project promises to be revolutionary. The name still remains top secret but the project acronym is known as X4.

Atlantis offers neither confirmation nor denial but reminds readers that each boat in the Atlantis range has given the nautical market a powerful jolt.
The model that is about to come to light will have the same pizzaz, if not even more.
To the excellence of design, elegance of the fittings and optimum seaworthiness, this time Atlantis will also be offering the unprecedented possibility of customizing Opens up to 65 feet.
Comments at this point are therefore unavailing.
The wait is almost over. Please be patient!
31/03/2008 - Granai Prestige Yachting Day: Atlantis yachts parade in Versilia
The Cala de' Medici marina is a recently built state of the art tourist port close to Rosignano Solvay and Castiglioncello in the Tuscany region of Italy.
This year the marina will once again be hosting the Granai Prestige Yachting Day event, sponsored by Atlantis and GPY (Atlantis authorized dealer for the Tuscany and Umbria areas).
The three-day event will be accompanied by music, live entertainment and refreshments and feature sea trials of all the motor boats and Atlantis yachts on display.
25/03/2008 - The roar of Atlantis among the tigers of the Orient
New and prestigious appointments to boost the Atlantis calendar of boat shows.
Known as one of the stars of excellence in Italy’s boat building industry, Atlantis will be making celebrity appearances this spring at Mumbai, Dubai, Moscow and Shanghai.

If the appointment in the Arab Emirates is now to be considered a tradition – with excellent results each year – the presence of Atlantis at Indian, Russian and Chinese boat shows is something entirely new that confirms the trend in growth of the Italian brand in the most dynamic regions of the world. In fact economic growth in the Middle and Far East continues to be overwhelming, and is also accompanied by a particularly interesting upward trend in the tourism industry.
New challenges await within these markets, where the stylistic research and productive flexibility that characterizes Atlantis DNA will prove to be truly decisive advantages.
18/10/2007 - From Genoa to Hong Kong, on board an Atlantis yacht
From Genoa to Hong Kong. It sounds like the itinerary of a car rally for veteran cars. Appeal would be guaranteed, comfort less so. But if you do not want to forgo comfort, elegance and prestige, what better way to follow this route than on board an Atlantis yacht?
During the Genoa International Boat Show, Atlantis officially announced the agreement signed with Jebsen & Co Ltd to distribute its boats in China. This is an excellent result for the marketing strategy of the Boatyard, part of the Azimut-Benetti Group, which thus enters a constantly growing market, and does so in great style. Jebsen & Co Ltd, which is located in Hong Kong, is the official importer of Porsche brand for China.
The Atlantis sales network thus continues to expand. To date, there are forty dealers selling Atlantis boats, and helping to make this Italian brand renowned all over the world. Before China, Atlantis has recently signed agreements with new dealers in the Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Tunisia, Bulgaria and Romania.
21/09/2007 - New Atlantis 47 HT at the Genoa Boat Show
Atlantis will be attending this year's Genoa Boat Show with a good number of novelties and premiers.

Starting with the hard top version of the Atlantis 47, which makes this model even more enjoyable. And even better-looking, because the designers have created a hard top that adds extra elegance to the boat’s sporty profile.

There are also novelties for the Atlantis 35: following her enormous success over the last year the 35 now has a twin! A new version of the Atlantis 35 will be on display alongside the version presented at Genoa a year ago. The new 35 differs from the earlier version in the layout of the cockpit, and the presence of a roll-bar, thus offering Atlantis customers even more choice.

The Boat Show will also see the debut of the Atlantis version of the entire SC range.
21/09/2007 - Stand Up!
Atlantis has decided to completely revolutionize its stand for the 47th Genoa International Boat Show. The new stand will feature a radical design and cutting edge technologies, with tall vertical elements that trace the external and internal boundaries of the stand, creating a space that is clear cut but open, with perspective effects that emphasise a sense of both compactness and transparency.

A stand designed to interact not only with visitors, but also with the wind and light. The colours chosen are strong and intense, dominated by red and anthracite grey, expressing perfectly the values of sportiness and elegance that are embodied by the Atlantis brand.

A new stand that deserves to be inaugurated by an exclusive premier: the hard top version of the Atlantis 47, the new layout of the Atlantis 35, the full range of sport cruisers proudly displaying their new Atlantis style colours and materials and, for the first time in Italy, pictures of the Atlantis 48, an ambitious new Atlantis project set to debut in the spring of 2008.
04/09/2007 - A new version of the 35 to debut at Oslo
Atlantis will be showcasing a great novelty at this year’s Oslo Boat Show. A new version of the Atlantis 35 to compliment her twin presented at the Genoa Boat Show last October.
The new 35 differs from the earlier version in the layout of the cockpit, and the presence of a roll-bar, thus offering Atlantis customers even more choice.
A celebration of the enormous success achieved by this model in her first year.

The Atlantis 35 stands out from the crowd in terms of her dynamic performance, a top speed of 40 knots, voluminous interiors and exceptional functionality.
31/08/2007 - Please be patient!
The Atlantis stands in the most important boat shows will be host to the first digital images of an ambitious new project. If your expecting the launch of just the one model you’re in for a surprise. There are going to be four new models. Four boats in one!
The Atlantis x4 is set to debut in the spring of 2008 and will be available in four alternative versions. Depending on their tastes and requirements, boat-owners will be able to choose between an open version with a hard top and a coupe version with a door. And they will also be offered a choice of layouts, with two or three cabins. Whatever the version, the Atlantis 48 will be a unique model on the international scene, representing the maximum expression of the boatyard’s design and technological skills in a project that drives the concept of flexibility towards new limits.
31/08/2007 - The new Atlantis Sport Cruiser range debuts
The debut of the Atlantis version of the SC range will also be among the novelties to be presented by Atlantis at the Cannes and Genoa Boat Shows. As of this year, the three models - 315SC, 345SC, 425SC – will all be decorated with the colours and materials typical of Atlantis, confirming and strengthening the market success they have always enjoyed.
Success resulting from cutting edge technology that allows for the construction of sound and particularly reliable boats that are comfortable and attractive in both design and price.
30/08/2007 - A magazine full of Atlantis spirit
Atlantis has grown. Sporty and seductive, the company has developed a strong winning identity and the Atlantis range meets with the favour of boat owners with young spirits ready for challenge.
With this in mind Atlantis decided to create an area where the company’s way of being and, cruising between the lines, the world that surrounds it could be explored. Thus Atlantis Esprit, a magazine dedicated to all Atlantis customers and an implicit acknowledgement of the firm’s strong identity, and its energetic, visionary and assertive personality.
27/07/2007 - Atlantis, sea, luxury and golf
An original weekend at the Varazze Marina celebrated the combination between two exclusive worlds that are usually separate: the sea and golf. On 5 and 6 May 2007, the first edition of the Mediolanum Sea Challenge was held. The leading characters in the event were Banca Mediolanum's best clients, confronting each other in an enthralling golfing challenge, Hole in 1. In particular, out of the 80 overall guests, 32 amateur players, regularly enrolled in the FIG (Italian Golf Federation) challenged each other in an exciting test of ability: from a tee positioned on the central pier of the piazzetta Esedra of Varazze Marina, they attempted in a single shot to get their ball in the hole, positioned on a 2.5 x 2.5 metre inflatable raft, covered with grass, first from a distance of 45 metres and then, much more difficult, from 137 metres.
Up for grabs, a super-prize for an elite target, an Atlantis 35 yacht, the access model to the range. Among the numerous guests that participated, there were also many stars from show business and the sports world who, other than taking part in the competition, also had the opportunity to enjoy the exclusive atmosphere of the Varazze Marina and test the complete range of Atlantis 35, 39, 42, 47, 50 and 55.
18/06/2007 - Great success for the first Yachting Gala
Saturday, 16th June 2007: The Marina di Varazze sparkled with a light that was more intense than ever before, not only throughout the day but also well into the night. A stunning effect due to a stunning event, the first Azimut-Benetti Yachting Gala, where the world’s leading megayacht builders treated its customers to an unprecedented all star event.
"Today’s event is simply unique - commented the Paolo Vitelli, president of the Group - this is the first time ever in the world that a company has been able to transform a marina into a exclusive floating living room."
Atlantis, Azimut and Benetti celebrated the elegance and style of Italian design together with 1500 guests including three exceptional testimonials: Marcello Lippi, Simona Ventura and Andrea Bocelli who gave a wonderfully moving concert.
Twenty yachts were available for sea trials on a beautifully warm summer day lit by a light that appeared as a clear invitation to take to sea. Ideal conditions for the open; the Atlantis yachts were able to show off their verve and sporty nature giving life to a truely entertaining show on the water.
24/05/2007 - Atlantis 50, cover girl of the year
Right from her debut, the Atlantis 50 has always seen herself as a true star and wasted no time in conquering the cover page of magazines specialized in luxury yachting. Carenes Moteurs were quick off the mark in naming the Atlantis 50 "bateau de l’année", while Neptune has described her as "la plus sophistiquée".
Atlantis 50 currently appears on the cover page of the May issue of Yachting. The American magazine has headed the page "Ciao Bella" in honour of the Atlantis Jewel and has announced that this new luxury yacht may well become the link to a new and distinctive style: "this stylish new 50 is a force to be reckoned with in the sport-cruiser market".
An acknowledgement that follows others that have already appeared in the more prestigious specialized magazines in Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East. Journalists worldwide have drawn on superlatives and expressed great enthusiasm in describing this new model from the Atlantis range.
The photographs and articles describing the Atlantis 50 linger over her strong points: the unmistakeable hardtop, her elegant and chic interior, the unlimited space in the cockpit, but most of all they all speak of her overall charm. A Truly beautiful seductive boat, full of surprises.
12/03/2007 - Atlantis 50 and Atlantis 39: luxury open yachts seduce the States
The feeling between Atlantis and the USA continues to grow. An evermore widespread professional network of dealers, the constant presence and hard-hitting impact of the Atlantis 50 at American boat shows and a good deal of attention from the media are factors contributing to the success currently being enjoyed by Atlantis in America.

The available range is also increasing: Atlantis 50 was officially presented to the American market at the Miami Boat Show.

Atlantis 50 has the character of a star. She is beautiful and she knows it. The stylish elegance of her external profile has a hard to resist allure Those who yield to her charm discover how choices in design have been perfectly integrated with her avant guard technological solutions, breathing life into a yacht that delights both the eye and the spirit. When aboard, space is at a command, surrounded by beauty and technology making life so much easier.

Atlantis 50 debuted in Miami just a few months after Atlantis 39 was presented to the American public in Fort Lauderdale.

Since her debut in both Europe and America, the Atlantis 39 has proved to be an infallible seductress, capturing the attention and fascination of all.

At a glance her sensual lines, designed by Michael Peters, then the Carlo Galeazzi interior, featuring an original choice of colours that is both elegant and full of passion. Atlantis 39: embark on a journey in pursuit of beauty.
14/11/2006 - Atlantis Yachts - outright celebrities at the Genoa Boat Show
The Atlantis brand was without a doubt the true star of this year’s 46th Genoa International Boat Show.
The worldwide premiere of new Atlantis 35 and the launch of the new Atlantis 50 in Italy, presented last September in Cannes, attracted a wide audience that resulted in the sale of 70 units - next year's entire production capacity!
Over 10,000 people, drawn by the chance to view the entire range, from the 35’ to the 55’, visited the Atlantis stand this year.
An edition of the Show to be remembered right from day one. The Atlantis stand, physically connected for the very first time to the Azimut stand, was brought to life on the 7th of October amidst an array of sensational lighting and sounds effects. Visitors and spectators where entertained by a fascinating group of acrobats in a spectacular celebration of the Atlantis shipyard’s extraordinary performance: the worldwide premier of two beautiful new models in less than a month.
28/09/2006 - A great challenge, a great launch
A great launch event to celebrate an important new result achieved by Atlantis and their Shipyard. The public presentation of two new models in the space of one month was made possible by excellent teamwork. Atlantis 50 debuted in Cannes at the end of September and will be once again on display at the Genoa International Boat Show, right next to her brand new and as yet to be seen sister, Atlantis 35. Two extremely innovative motoryachts adding to the evermore-complete Atlantis range. A fast growing family that has revolutionized standards in the open segment by introducing unprecedented solutions regarding design, on board systems and the production process. Atlantis 50 with her hard top, already successfully experimented on the 55, while a totally original idea mutated from the automobile industry has been adopted on the Atlantis 35: similar to the hood on a sports car, the roof of the cockpit is completely integrated with the fibreglass superstructure. At the press a button it opens and fans out over the cockpit in just twenty seconds.
The greatest strong point of these two yachts is without a doubt the optimization of shape and space that, together with the worldwide renowned design genius of Michael Peters for the Atlantis 35 and Carlo Galeazzi for the Atlantis 50, has created the ideal formula for two masterpieces.
The "launch-event" is to take place on October 7th, the opening day of the Genoa Show, at the Atlantis Stand in Piazza del Mare. Festivities surrounding the event will begin at 4.45 pm and represent a not to be missed occasion to become more familiar with the world of Atlantis and the Azimut-Benetti Group.
22/09/2006 - Atlantis 50 debuts at Cannes
As well befits, the setting for the preview of the new model from the Atlantis range was of particular prestige. Atlantis 50 made her debut into society on the occasion of the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes where she received a very positive reaction from both the public and the press, with numerous magazines contending the image of the new open for their cover pager.
The key to success for this model from Atlantis is without a doubt the great sensation of space both above and below deck. Even those with decades of experience in the nautical field that have walked the decks of hundreds of boats recognize an all new character aboard this yacht, a perfect balance of functionality and comfort together with a surprising and innovative usage of space.
The positive impression is further strengthened by the yacht’s powerful lines, designed by Carlo Galeazzi, and the elegance of the internal décor.
02/05/2006 - Confidently Forwards by Paolo Vitelli
Our growth continues. During the course of 2004, Italian pleasure craft production increased by 8.7% and
in the year ending on August 31st 2005 the production value of the Azimut-Benetti Group showed a growth of
16%. This result not only makes us feel particularly proud but also clearly indicates a strong expression of market
approval towards our production. Appreciation that derives from the intelligent and innovative products presented on the market, from investments totalling €250 million
over the last few years and the
quantity and quality of the services that, through Fraser Yachts – 350 million intermediations and 60 megayachts managed – we offer our customers. Our orders portfolio registered a value of €600 million on September 30th this year, a figure that had never been reached before.
The imminent launching of the Azimut 43S, Azimut 62S, Azimut 85, Azimut 105, Atlantis 50’, Benetti Classic 120 and the Benetti Legend – all yachts that are not just innovative but have also been conceived using methods and planning abilities as yet unheard of in the sector - allows us to believe in our capacity to continue to serve and satisfy our customers so that they may continue to feel proud of being part of our great family.

13/04/2006 - The right size of luxury
The desire to board an Atlantis 39 is something that just comes naturally, wanting to set your feet back on dry land is something you have to force yourself to do. This jewel of the Atlantis range has all the charm and elegance you would expect to find on a megayacht.
Luxury is not a matter of measure but rather that of style. This is to be the theme of the new publicity campaign dedicated to the Atlantis 39, a successful model with elegant original lines and technological solutions that guarantee a level of comfort easily envied by many larger yachts.
Space on board is rational and innovative, as is well demonstrated by the two double cabins, both with private heads, and on deck the ample seating that converts into generously sized sun beds and chaise longue.
This is real made to measure luxury: the right size of luxury.
23/11/2005 - Atlantis 50, space is the keyword
The new model from Atlantis is born under a lucky
star. The success of the Atlantis 55 and the innovative solutions that have been adopted by the shipyard, like the all glass hard top, have strongly influenced the yard’s styling for forthcoming models.
The family feeling on the new Atlantis 50 is therefore almost tangible and she also features new design solutions that have resulted from the close collaboration between the shipyard’s style department and the architect Carlo Galeazzi.
In line with the yard’s tradition, a new World Boat is under construction that will be able to satisfy even the more demanding needs of our transatlantic customers, where the
Atlantis presence has gained considerable ground.
The tender has been positioned on a teak platform to free up space in the cockpit allowing more space for two generously sized sofas, one C-shaped and
the other an L that when needed can be unite to form additional seating. A chaise longue to fore provides continuity to the sofas that extend aft terminating in two sun cushions. A table in teak and a cabinet fitted with a barbecue, a sink and refrigerator complete this area.
The crystal glass hardtop with incorporated protection against ultraviolet and infrared rays creates
a barrier-free sensation with the sky and increases the feeling of space.
The Atlantis 50 satisfies expectations below decks too. The tones are warm and
refined and the materials used have been adopted skilfully. The owners’ suite has been positioned for
ward while both the guests’ cabins are aft, though the port cabin is in fact very similar to a stateroom thanks to the double bed and exceptional headroom, both unusual on a yacht of this size that usually has two guests’ cabins with single beds. The bathrooms, one private for the owners’ suite and the other accessed by both the VIP suite and the saloon are fitted with separate showers and a crystal washbasin. The saloon is amidships and enriched by alternating panels in fabric and essences of wood creating a wonderful contrasting play of materials. An L-shaped sofa that comfortably seats six complete with a table for dining or coffee breaks elegantly furnishes the saloon and, as on the other models in the line, the hide-a-way galley stretches along the
port side in front of the divan to make use of the space during the day as either a bar or kitchen. The large windows along both sides of the saloon are also amongst the distinctive elements that characterize the Atlantis line and allow natural daylight to virtually flood inside.
The Atlantis 50 has been constructed using the core infusion system, the vacuum procedure developed by Azimut’s R&D centre in collaboration with the
Swedish company DIAB. This system allows the resin to be distributed uniformly and consequently significantly increases the structural integrity of the hull.
08/09/2005 - Atlantis 47 Plus: more space, more comfort, more Atlantis
PLUS: the new idea from Atlantis in response to our customers’ needs and desires.
The Atlantis 47, with her stylish design and particularly attractive and pleasingly functional external areas, has already proved to be a very successful model. Even more so on the plus version, where two elegant and comfortable sofas now occupy the area that was previously taken up by the garage. Conceived to meet the tastes and requirements of an American market, this solution has met with particular approval in Europe and will therefore be marketed worldwide.
The new version will be publicly exhibited for the first time at the Genoa Boat Show alongside the Atlantis 47, successfully launched at this same show in 2002.
Thus Atlantis continues to further enrich and increase the competitiveness of its market proposals.
08/09/2005 - The Atlantis 39 under the spotlights
Since she debuted in Düsseldorf last January the Atlantis 39 has seen no let up in her busy agenda: the time has now come for her to be officially presented in France, and at long last, in Italy.
It would by no means be pretentious to declare that the opportunities to see her in her full splendour are definitely not to be missed: the 28th Cannes International Boat Show (14 – 19 September 2005) and the Genoa International Boat Show, where a very special setting will also be created to host the first ever public appearance of the Atlantis 39 in Italy.
The Atlantis 39 will also be on show at both the Southampton and Friedrichshafen International Boat Shows. A very busy schedule that holds all the promise for a very rich, intense and gratifying season.
11/04/2005 - Dubai: Atlantis steers towards the future
This was the first time for Atlantis at the Dubai International Boat Show. Public interest was immediate and enthusiastic, as she debuted in great style, and the number of orders received were well beyond even the rosiest of previsions. From a region that has been confirmed as the new frontier of the Yachting market, these results are particularly encouraging.
The Arab Emirates are in fact engaged in a breath-taking race towards the future. During the last ten years economic development has been astonishing and the country’s GDP per capita has risen to take fourth place in worldwide statistics.
The tourist sector has grown alongside the economic boom and has been spurred along by the most luxurious hotels on earth, the construction of numerous marinas and the design and construction of futuristic projects such as The Palms and The World: very private, dream residential complexes with artificial islands and apartments right at the water’s edge. It doesn’t take much to imagine why the nautical industry is making an entrance here. By 2008 there will be 7,000 moorings around Dubai and, without doubt, the most prestigious in the world.
Against this background, Atlantis and the entire Azimut-Benetti Group presented themselves as leaders. The three days at the Dubai Boat Show were exceptionally intense and the stand was besieged by a palpable interest in the Group’s yachts that combine luxury, design and contemporary style with unsurpassable elegance.
Away from the scene of this year’s international showcase, the Atlantis presence is to be guaranteed in the region by a new dealer: Art Marine. This company is the result of a merger between the family run business of two brothers, Alessio and Riccardo Tumbiolo and Mr Arif M. Naqvi, CEO of Abraaj Capital, the major private equity group in the area.
Art Marine is a dynamic dealer capable of presiding over the entire Middle Eastern area as the dealership is not just limited to the Arab Emirates but is also operative in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan and Qatar.
28/02/2005 - From New York to Miami: American boat shows
Boat shows are excellent showcases and allow for direct contact with the public: the ideal occasion to sample reactions and sense desires. The Atlantis spirit is almost tangible on these occasions; each participation is transformed into an event: high-tech exhibition solutions and spectacular previews. An Atlantis stand is never passed unnoticed.
January in New York followed by February in Miami… Atlantis already feels at home even in the US. The most unmistakeable models in the range were exhibited, characterized by advanced technological solutions together with designer signatures, including, and to name just one, the American, Michael Peters, of renowned international fame.
08/02/2005 - Atlantis 39. Open (Minded) Boat
Journalists, those just curious and enthusiasts. The attention of all at the 2005 Düsseldorf Boat Show was concentrated on the red unveiling cover that concealed the real innovation at the German show and all eagerly awaited the unveiling, which took place at 4pm on the first day of the show, to admire the new jewel of the Atlantis range.
The innovations on this new model are manyfold, right through from her conception and design to how she has been fitted out. A courageous challenge that has been well rewarded by the immediate positive responses received: an open with original, elegant lines, pure Atlantis style, with "world boat" characteristics (capable of satisfying even the most demanding ship owners from the other side of the Atlantic).
The design of the external lines on the Atlantis 39 was entrusted to the world famous American designer Michael Peters.
The elegant external lines are characterized by two windows that lengthen the profile of the windshield right to the stern. Outstanding innovative solutions have been adopted for the versatile cockpit including two seats that can be converted into sunloungers, of a size that may usually only be found on lager yachts, and a generous chaise longue next to the drivers seat which perfectly unite style comfort and high class technology.
The 12'8'' beam has made it possible to make the most of both the areas above and below decks. The interior design bears the unmistakeable mark of Carlo Galeazzi, who has knowledgably "dared", to the point of proposing unusual materials and colour schemes, dominated by red and ivory and by a hint of an original limed version of tanganika wood.
The technical solutions adopted have allowed for two double cabins, both with private bathrooms.
The Atlantis 39 is powered by two Volvo common-rail engines with either 260 or 310hp, power that assures optimum performance and a maximum estimated speed of around 35 knots.
The 206 US gallon diesel fuel tank provides a cruising range that allows the sense of freedom that this open has to offer to be enjoyed to the full.
Innovations have also been made to the construction methods for this new Atlantis, which will be built using the revolutionary core infusion process which has the advantage of producing a stronger and more resistant structure.
12/01/2005 - Atlantis challenges the States
The United States holds a privileged position on the International nautical board. The U.S.A. is the leading nation in terms of demand and offer. To achieve important commercial success in the U.S.A. is an extraordinary demonstration of competence and merit. Atlantis has advanced on to this market proposing unmistakeable models, characterized by advanced technological solutions, coupled with designers, like Michael Peters, of renowned international fame.
The results have left no one waiting. Immediate favourable reviews have been received not only from the international press but also on behalf of boat owners worldwide.
Atlantis is decisively heading towards expanding its presence on the American market and has decided to construct two new models designed specifically to cater for the tastes of transatlantic customers. A worldwide exclusive: Atlantis, not limited to adapting European models, has begun production of two original projects (based on the Atlantis 42 and 47), along dedicated production lines. The new projects are very convincing and will be commercialised worldwide.
12/01/2005 - Infusion: technological revolution
The Atlantis yards, leaders in technology for over 10 years have yet again leaped ahead thanks to the new infusion process that has been imported from the mother company, Azimut. This lamination system offers multiple advantages over traditional methods and in particular assures increased quality and zeroes pollutant emissions. The finished product is of particularly elevated quality with a decidedly better tensile strength. The hull weighs less but it is considerably more resistant.
The second of the greater advantages is the reduction to zero of pollutant styrene emissions from the resin used in the lamination process.

Azimut chose the Swedish company Diab, who first began developing the technique in Scandinavian countries and who are world leaders in this technology, as its partners.
12/01/2005 - The network of Atlantis dealers continues to expand
Atlantis has a fundamental asset in its sales network, a determining element for success and growth.
The company can rely on a network of competent and highly professional dealers, a constantly expanding network that allows Atlantis to introduce itself onto new markets.
During the last year, Atlantis, thanks to the development of its network of dealers, has entered dynamic and strategic markets. A dealer in Russia represents an important presence in the Eastern Mediterranean area with new dealers in Croatia, Greece, Cyprus and Lebanon.
12/01/2005 - Atlantis 55, an award-winner in the European Yachts Trophies 2004
The third edition of the European Yachts Trophies, the event where the most important awards in the European sector are assigned, was held during the Cannes International Boat Show and was organized by the esteemed international magazine "Yachts".
The Atlantis range was on show thanks to the two yacht which gained a nomination: Atlantis 47 in the "40 to 50 Open” category and the Atlantis 55, awarded first place as the best yacht in the “ 50 to 60 Open” category.

The sophisticated attention to detail and the extraordinary research activities in design solutions distinguished the Atlantis 47 from its competitors. The hard top in tempered glass is definitely the most noticeable element on this yacht that has proved to be a “thoroughbred” in each and every particular detail.
